Sourabh Narayan SANE — Founder & Principal Consultant

Sourabh is a seasoned industry professional with extensive experience built over two decades across OEM, LSTK EPC organizations. His career spans application engineering, proposals, sales, business development, and senior management roles, supporting complex capital projects in refinery, LNG, fertilizer, power, petrochemical, and chemical sectors, in compliance with API and international standards. He has served prominent Indian and Global MNCs - Kirloskar, Thermax, Toyo Engineering, Chiyoda, Nikkiso, Ebara, Forbes Marshall and some more to name - through assignments in India, Japan, and Singapore.

Academically, Sourabh demonstrated early excellence - earning merit-based scholarships during school education and later receiving a National Award for his final-year engineering project, reflecting his ability to translate concepts into practical solutions. While college years expanded beyond core academics into broader extracurricular and real-world exposure, these experiences shaped strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and leadership qualities that later became instrumental in professional success.

A defining milestone in his early career was receiving the AOTS (Japan Government) Scholarship, which provided first-hand exposure to Japanese engineering discipline, quality systems, and business culture. Combined with a strong academic environment at home from his Father, emeritus professor Dr. N. K. Sane - including exposure to advanced research thinking - this background fostered a mind-set of structured problem-solving, execution discipline, and long-term value creation, which forms the foundation of Anura Consultancy today.
